Hasan Kozan,  M.S.O.M., L.Ac.

Hasan Kozan is a board certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist at Aloha Wellness since 2007.  He holds a Master of Oriental Science degree from the Southwest Acupuncture College and a Civil Engineering degree from the State University of New York in Buffalo.  He has a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine and is licensed in the state of Colorado.  He practices a Japanese Style of Acupuncture that is integrated with Osteopathic Medicine techniques and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Hasan has had the rare privilege of studying and working under some of the most experienced and renowned practitioners in Japan and in the United States.  He has been a student and long-time colleague and teaching assistant of Jeffrey Dann, who has practiced and taught acupuncture for over three decades in several different countries including Japan and China.

In 2012, Hasan began his studies of Visceral Manipulation with the Barrall Institute, which transformed his style into a unique blend of Japanese Acupuncture and Osteopathic Medicine that only a few acupuncturists practice.  Visceral Manipulation is a gentle manual therapy that releases tension in the ligaments and fascia of the body’s organs to restore organ motility and anatomical mobility. Hasan has  taught his technique as an Adjunct Instructor at the Southwest Acupuncture College and the Barrall Institute.

Hasan continues to work in collaboration with Jeffrey Dann at Aloha Wellness, where he focuses mainly on the perfection of his specialized approach and continues to study Advanced Japanese Acupuncture styles, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Osteopathic Medicine.   His style of acupuncture is unique, very gentle, and palpation based.
